Business Systems is large enough to have a strong reputation in Financial Services, Contact Centres and the Public Sector but is small enough that you will interact with senior managers and the leadership team daily as well as having the opportunity to make a big impact.

The role

Business Systems understands that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential clients who can benefit from our products and services.

As the first line of communication with prospects, SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, stimulating interest, generating sales qualified leads and helping to build the pipeline for the sales team.

The SDR role requires grit, the ability to make high volume calls and touches, persistence, consistency and great time management.  Our successful SDR’s have a growth mindset and are focused, tenacious and goal orientated.

Responsibilities

  • Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of how we can help solve our client’s challenges
  • Research our target markets and prospective clients to identify how our solutions will help meet their needs
  • Generate sales qualified leads and build relationships through prospecting; activity-based calling, emailing and social selling
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings using Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach and other tools in our sales technology stack
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase interest in products
  • Keep prospect account records up to date in Salesforce and for logging all activity and information on prospects
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 1 year + prior experience as an SDR with a track record of achieving targets
  • Motivation, drive and the ability to think creatively
  • Goal orientated and lifelong learner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Curious, with the ability to understand customer pain and provide consultative solutions
  • Ability to manage time effectively to complete a high-volume outreach
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach (or similar)
  • Some experience in either the CCaaS market selling e.g. Genesys, Nice CXOne etc or financial markets selling e.g. Nice, Red Box, Verint etc

We have new amazing offices in the City of London and although this is a hybrid working role, we would prefer you to regularly come to the office, so you have the support you need that will help you to be successful.
