The importance of Business Systems’ mobile call recording technology and market trading surveillance systems, has been recognised with nominations for three industry awards in the FST awards.

Business Systems (UK) Ltd the voice and speech technology specialists have just announced that they have been shortlisted in three categories of the Financial Sector Technology (FST) awards. Market Detect their intelligent trading surveillance system has been shortlisted for ‘Most Innovative Data Intelligence Product’, whilst Vocal Mobile their patented mobile phone recording solution has been nominated in the ‘Most Innovative Solution’ and ‘Compliance Project of the Year’ awards category.

Business Systems continues to consolidate its position as the premiere independent systems integrator in call capture technology to the financial markets. For the last two decades the company has established an impressive track record in identifying the best technology fit for their customers whilst also providing the middleware to suit niche market requirements driven by legislative requirements.

Stephen Thurston, a founding Director of Business Systems (UK) Ltd commented “The development of our trading surveillance and mobile recording technology dovetails neatly into our existing business, providing additional applications which can work alongside incumbent recording systems. We are delighted to have been nominated for these awards, it is testimony to the diligence and commitment of our research and development team in understanding the needs of our customers, who have been an integral part of the product development phase.”

The company is currently deploying this technology in the UK and those parts of Europe where legislation dictates; with the FSA mandating that City securities firms must record ‘relevant conversations’ on mobile phones by 14 November 2011, this is a timely solution to a market’s need.
