Mirra Series IV – The cost-conscious buyer…
Sales of the Mirra Series IV call recorder launched last year have gone from strength to strength and an updated release of the product is now available.
The Mirra IV is a high-quality extension and trunk side recorder for small to medium applications where less than 48 channels of recording are needed at any one site. The recorder provides continuous, uninterrupted recording and is popular with the likes of public safety organisations, transport companies, health care centres and smaller financial firms.
Release 2 as it is known, is ideal for the cost conscious buyer. For IP users the enhancement of a static VoIP interface means that VoIP extensions can now be recorded in a very cost effective way. The new options provide both VoIP and TDM connectivity which is ideal for organisations transitioning from TDM to IP or for those who have moved to a VoIP platform with business continuity back-up over traditional TDM or analogue lines.
The new PRI interface provides recording of ISDN 30 trunks. PRI recording can be a much more cost-effective solution in those situations where the ratio of extensions to trunks is high. Release 2 also comes with the same easy to use interface with some additional GUI enhancements.
Support for discontinued recorders
As manufacturers release new products into the market, older versions become discontinued with spare parts and support also being phased out accordingly.
