Nice have announced that Wordnet Series 1 has expired. This is not news but we can tell you that spares are nearly out on these recorders. So if your Wordnet Series 1 breaks down be prepared to upgrade. The news on Wordnet Series 2 is that you can no longer buy one. All stocks of these have now run out. They are no longer being manufactured and parts are on a limited cycle. Wordnet Series 2 systems are still supported, officially until May 1st 2006. So, if your maintenance renewal is due after this May don’t be expecting an automatic annual renewal. Business Systems offers a range of upgrade or swap out options for Wordnet 1 or Wordnet 2.
