Business Systems is pleased to announce high commendation for the Best Healthcare Analytics Project at the HSJ Partnership Awards
Westminster, 23 March 2022
On 24 March 2022, in a private awards ceremony held at Park Plaza, Westminster, Business Systems , Integrated Care 24 and CLEO Systems received a high commendation for the ‘best healthcare analytics project for the NHS’ category at this year’s HSJ Partnership Awards. The accolade recognises their ongoing innovative and collaborative partnerships with the NHS and commitment to healthcare.
Following a rigorous judging process, involving a wide panel of judges from across the healthcare sector, the speech and text analytics in NHS 111 project had been chosen as a finalist in the ‘best healthcare analytics project for the NHS category’ followed by this special recognition.
The awards ceremony was attended by leaders and professionals from both the NHS and private sector as well as figures from non-clinical backgrounds. Hosted by celebrity guest Tom Allen, the evening was a true celebration of the achievements and collaborative partnerships in healthcare across a total of 18 categories.
The project was a collaboration between Business Systems UK, urgent care provider Integrated Care 24 and systems provider CLEO Systems, and sought to introduce Nexidia Speech and Text Analytics into IC24’s NHS 111 service. The system allows for a better understanding of the patient experience, and therefore a quality of care, through the automation of quality assessments and improvements. The system provides patient sentiment analysis and root cause analysis to facilitate service improvements and has provided data to support a number of quality improvement projects.
Dave West, Health Service Journal’s Deputy Editor congratulated the team on their successful win, “This year’s entrants displayed a varied range of projects and partnerships, all working together to benefit the nation’s healthcare sector. On this occasion, I congratulate Business Systems UK, IC24 and CLEO Systems on getting highly commended in the best healthcare analytics project category, and I look forward to learning the future of their projects, now with the added accolade from the HSJ family.”
On receiving this special mention from the judges, Adam Kantor, Business Systems CEO commented: “We are honoured to have received a high commendation for the Best Healthcare Analytics Project. Helping our clients identify solutions to their challenges is a true passion of ours, and receiving this commendation is a fantastic recognition of exactly this. We are proud to have played a part in providing improved outcomes for patients and the healthcare industry as a whole.”
David Brown, Chief Information Officer at Integrated Care 24 said: ‘We are so proud to have received this commendation, and it is fantastic recognition of the amount of work that our teams have invested to turn an innovative concept into a reality. We have already used the data that the system provides to help us deliver a better and more efficient service for our patients, and we know that there is still plenty of scope to implement further improvements. As a social enterprise it is really important to us that we demonstrate social value and data that our speech analytics programme provides us helps us to do that.’
